Justin Bieber and John Lennon are excellent with kids

Singapore: When kids around the world go online, they share one huge thing in common when they search under entertainment, and that’s music.

A study on top enjoyment searches, depends on more than 20 million anonymous search-engine queries from childs in 20 countries, including Singapore, found that more than 75 percent of entertainment online searches were for listening songs or musicians.

The top of the excellent 20 is Justin Bieber, who's the number one in term of searches, in every country except for India, China and Japan.

One possible reason for the online pole position held by the teen singing star is his bold web presence.

The 16-year-old who begin as a street performer in the small town of Stratford, Ontario, rose from a YouTube phenomenon to universal super star.

His life story winning in the movie "Justin Bieber :Never Say Never" opens in US cinemas this week, and in Singapore in April, in both 3D and 2D.

Beiber-mania is also most likely to remain strong in 2011 with the live web continue on 9 February of the gala premiere of his movie in Hollywood.

Fans around the world were able to capture the movie premiere that was streamed live for the first time by Paramount, and included exclusive behind-the-shots and never before seen clips.

Outside of the online world, entertainers who capture the originality proved to remain a draw.

Iconic Lady Gaga though famous among the young online users, could only manage to emerge third after someone she would most likely gracely make way for, ex-Beatle John Lennon.

Even with other fellow-Beatles like Paul McCartney still to make music, it was Beatles songwriter Lennon who turned up as the second most famous entertainer.

Oddly enough, Lennon who died in 1980 when even the parents of some the kids conducting the online searches were children, was popular in Singapore, along with Australia,New Zealand,Malaysia and the USA.

Where the children did not contradict, according to the Norton information, was the songs that they wanted - Dynamite by Taio Cruz, the World Cup 'anthem' by Shakira, Waka Waka, and Teenage Dream by Katy Perry.

Pop songs comprised 13 out of the top 25 entertainment searches said the report which tracked a sample of Norton Online Family service users between August and December 2010.

After music, the other entertainment draw for the young online association was TV but again, music formed an essential element.

Reality shows such as American Idol was top, followed not far behind by cartoon series Ben 10, perhaps for its interactive online games.
